On 3 February 2026, the Commission for Lithuanian Science Prizes announced the winners of the Lithuanian Science Prizes 2025.
In the field of the humanities, the prize is awarded to Giedrė Mickūnaitė for the cycle of studies ‘Maniera greca in the East of Catholic Europe, the Late Fourteenth–Early Eighteenth Centuries’.
In the field of the social sciences, the winner is Zenonas Norkus for the cycle of studies ‘Comparative Historical Sociological Studies into Modern Social Restorations’.
In the field of the natural sciences, Ričardas Rotomskis and Vitalijus Karabanovas are awarded the Lithuanian Science Prize for their research cycle ‘Innovative Nanotechnology Solutions for Cancer Theranostics (2010–2024)’ and Artūras Dubickas for the series of works ’Algebraic Number Distribution Problems and Their Applications (2010–2024)’.
In the field of medical, health, and agricultural sciences, the prizes are awarded to Dainius Haroldas Pauža and Neringa Paužienė for the research cycle ‘Anatomical, immunohistochemical, and ultrastructural studies of the nervous system of the human and animal heart (2010–2024)’ and to Artūras Petronis for the cycle of studies ‘Epigenomics: Chronos, Pathos, Nosos (2010–2024)’.
In the field of technological sciences, the prize is awarded to Audrius Vaitkus, Ovidijus Šernas and Judita Škulteckė (Gražulytė) for the cycle of studies ‘Integrated Sustainable Construction and Material Solutions for Durable Roads (2010–2024)’.
